Germany

Words cannot describe

how small you can feel

alongside cathedrals

and castles that don’t

even seem real.

The weather so bipolar with sunny

days then snow.

Much that I’ve

seen still goes

unknown.

The people, the buildings

the greenery and all

is something I’d

spend every dime to see

one day long.

You can hop to France

and Spain with ease.

The countryside looks

heavenly with

sun bursting

through the trees

the mountains

the grape fields

the cattle

and sheep.

All things I’d see again

in that world

in the East.
