🎶 SETLIST Songwriting Series: From the Living Room to the Marketplace

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at songwriting—or maybe you’re already writing, but need confidence, direction, or a clearer path toward primetime?

SETLIST Songwriting Series is a multi-week songwriting experience designed to empower writers to draw from their musical influences and personal stories—and shape them into songs that not only fulfill the creative urge, but reach people.

Presented by Jessye Norman School of the Arts in partnership with Southeastern Songwriter Series and Denise Locke Heard, this class brings the expertise of a professional Nashville songwriter who now calls the CSRA home and is passionate about fueling the vibrant songwriting community being built in Augusta—and beyond.

Special Opportunity:
Joe Stevenson of Southeastern Songwriter Series will select writers from the class to perform in one of their acclaimed songwriting rounds at Fox’s Lair in Augusta. 

There will be other performance opportunities as the class moves into April and beyond.
